Thursday Sessions

Every Thursday 10 am - 2 pm

This session is aimed at those who want a bit of mid-week outdoor activity.  This is a quiet session, focusing on the current list of jobs that are more practical, rather than plant based.  We have a range of jobs to do for all abilities and skill levels: maintaining garden furniture, building structures and planters for use in the garden, constructing paths etc.

Experienced garden volunteers are on hand to advise if needed and there is always a chance for a cup of tea and a chat while you work.

The session is free, but we do have a donation box, suggested donation £1.50 per person.

Little Foresters

Little Foresters provides Forest school sessions for pre school families, families that home school and for families in the school holidays.

Forest school is:

'an inspirational process, that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees'

(The Forest School association)

Some examples of activities include den building, climbing trees, working with clay, using tools to make items from wood and cooking our snack on the fire

We have groups running every other Friday and every other Thursday in term time

We have just started a monthly Home Education session on Wednesday afternoons

Our Facebook page Little foresters details our events - like below to keep up to date

Places must be booked  for these sessions due to the nature of the activities we run

These sessions  carry a charge
