Our Facilities

A great place for the community to meet together.

We have been developing the Norfolk Road site for the last couple of years, and we're really proud of the facilities we have on site.

We have a portacabin with tea-making facilities.

Wheelchair accessible pathways and compost loo.

We have a forest schools area on site, used by local providers - Little Foresters. With a fire pit, shelter and seating.

We're very proud of our large pond which attracts a multitude of wildlife.

In 2021 we completed work on clearing an area adjacent to our site which we call Gordon's Garden.  This provides a shaded seating area and our newly planted fruit trees and is a space for any of the allotment holders and garden visitors to enjoy.

Where To Find Us

The Garden can be found at the Norfolk Road Allotment site in Long Eaton.

As you come down Norfolk Road, pass the corner shop on your right. There is a left turn signposted Norfolk Road  Park - turn up the driveway to find the garden directly ahead of you.

There is a generous car park and a children's play area in the park beside the garden.

Please note - our address on Google is slightly incorrect -please enter the postcode NG10 2BB, rather than the garden name -otherwise you will end up in Hucknall
